With three-port MDC adapters seamlessly fitting into standard panel openings for duplex LC adapters, fiber density triples. This setup supports port breakout architectures for emerging transceiver MSAs, enabling a single array transceiver to accommodate multiple MDC patch cables, individually accessible at the transceiver interface. In the QSFP footprint, four individual MDC cables are supported, while in the SFP footprint, two individual MDC cables are accommodated.
Inserting and extracting the MDC connector is a breeze, with a simple push or pull action on a flexible and robust strain relief boot, ideal for tight spaces. For streamlined installations with minimal errors, an optional aggregation component facilitates the simultaneous insertion and removal of multiple MDC connectors.
